An implant-supported bridge replaces multiple missing teeth with a fixed bridge held in place by dental implants. Unlike a conventional bridge, it does not rely on the neighbouring teeth for support.
Your clinician plans the position and number of implants around your bone, your bite, and the teeth you need to replace.

The Treatment Process
Treatment is planned around your individual case, with a healing period while the implants integrate with the bone. We’ll give you a personalised timeline at your consultation and explain each step before it begins.
Before the procedure: Your clinician examines your mouth and takes X-rays or a 3D scan to assess your bone and gums.
Planning: We plan implant positions, explain your options, the risks and limitations, and give you a written quote before you decide.
Placing the implants: Implants are placed in the jawbone. Some patients have temporary teeth fitted, depending on their situation.
Healing: The implants need time to integrate with the bone. Your clinician will tell you how long this is likely to take for you.
Taking the impression or scan: Once healed, we take an impression or digital scan to make your bridge.
Fitting the bridge: We fit your final bridge and check the fit and bite. We then plan follow-up care.
